By choosing to use this web site (NYSIF.COM) to request an insurance quote, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this disclaimer. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you should not submit a quote request.
The materials and information contained in this web site are provided 'as is' and without any warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) assumes no liability of any kind, whether in contract, tort, strict liability or any other type of liability, for damages of any kind incurred as a result of the use of this web site.
Your request for an insurance quote will not bring into effect any insurance coverage. No liability whatsoever will attach to NYSIF as a result of your request for an insurance quote. Insurance coverage may only be effected when your application for insurance is accepted by NYSIF as evidenced by the inception date as indicated in a policy.
Your entire insurance quote, including the estimated premium and the prospective terms of coverage are tentative and are subject to change without notice based on any and all underwriting criteria, manual rates, rating dates, manuals of rules, rating plans and classifications used by NYSIF. In the event that there is a difference in the information, rates, premiums or terms contained in an insurance quote and any insurance policy issued to you by NYSIF, the policy governs.
Actual premiums, rates and terms of coverage will only be determined after you submit an application for insurance, which is accepted by NYSIF. NYSIF has the right to verify the information you submit in your request for an insurance quote from other legal sources.
The information you provide in your request for an insurance quote will be kept private and will not be disclosed except as provided under the Personal Privacy Protection Law (article 6-A of the Public Officers Law), section 98 of the Workers' Compensation Law and other applicable laws. While NYSIF has taken precautions to safeguard the information you transmit in your request for an insurance quote, NYSIF does not warrant or guarantee that any information will not be intercepted, reviewed, retransmitted, disseminated or used by an unauthorized third party through the internet or otherwise.
NYSIF reserves the right to monitor this web site to identify unauthorized attempts to intercept or change information or cause damage. By using this web site you are consenting to such monitoring. Unauthorized attempts to intercept or change information, or to cause damage are strictly prohibited and may be punishable by law.
